Our Campground

Crooked Creek Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located on the banks of Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds. We are within close proximity to the PA Grand Canyon and the many outdoor activities our area has to offer such as stargazing, hiking, biking, fishing, river tubing, and more. Our modern shower house and family-friendly amenities make us the perfect place for a getaway. We also offer a variety of activities and events, such as volleyball, basketball, gem mining, playgrounds, cornhole, bingo, music, charitable events, and more.     You can make a reservation at Crooked Creek Campground up to 365 days in advance either online, via phone, or by stopping in. This gives you plenty of time to plan and secure your preferred dates for your camping trip. We offer flexible reservation options so that you can choose the method that works best for you. If you prefer the convenience of online booking, you can easily navigate our reservation system on our website. Alternatively, if you prefer a more personalized experience, our friendly staff is always available to assist you by phone or in-person. We believe in making your camping experience as stress-free as possible, which is why we offer multiple reservation options to suit your needs.

The campground is situated in the heart of Pennsylvania's Wilds and is located near the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, providing access to a wide variety of outdoor activities and stunning natural scenery. The campground spans fifty acres of land, situated along Pine Creek, offering visitors a tranquil and beautiful location to enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

    Crooked Creek Campground offers a variety of activities for all ages. We have multiple playgrounds, a gaga ball pit, gem mining, and volleyball and a basketball court available. We are surrounded by the Pennsylvania Wilds so explore with nearby hiking, biking, and stargazing. If you want to cool off, you can enjoy Pine Creek with river tubing, swimming, stocked fishing, and boating. Special event weekends offer cornhole tournaments, bingo, chicken BBQ, and music.     Crooked Creek Campground offers a variety of amenities to make your camping experience enjoyable. All our campsites include 30 and 50 amp service, water, and an optional sewer connection for our F and Upper sites. Additionally, each campsite is accompanied by a picnic table and fire ring for your convenience. For those looking for a more rustic camping experience, we offer primitive sites located directly along the creek.
  • Are pets allowed at Crooked Creek Campground?
    Yes, pets are welcome at Crooked Creek Campground. We understand that pets are important members of your family and we want you to enjoy your stay with them. However, we do not tolerate aggressive pets and ask that all pet owners provide proof of rabies vaccination upon check-in. Additionally, we ask that all pet owners be responsible and keep their pets on a leash at all times. As a show of our love for our furry friends, we offer treats in the office.   • What forms of payment does CCG accept for reservations
    Crooked Creek Campground accepts checks, cash, gift certificates, and credit cards (with an additional fee). To confirm your reservation, you must pay the first night's fee for sites or the refundable deposit for cabins. Final payment is due fifteen days prior to your arrival. We will send out email reminders to help you keep track, but you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your payment is made on time. We understand that plans can change, and we have a cancellation policy in place to provide flexibility to our guests. Please review our policies and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We strive to make the reservation process as simple and stress-free as possible, and we appreciate YOU.
  • What amenities are included with each glamp tent at Crooked Creek Campground?
    Each glamp tent at Crooked Creek Campground comes with a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. These amenities include a campfire coffee press, cast iron cookware for cooking over the campfire, dishes and silverware for two in a wash tub for easy cleaning at the outdoor sink, dining table for two inside the tent, a lockable storage unit for your belongings, two end stands by the bed with lighting, and a garbage can and bags for easy disposal. These amenities are designed to provide a rustic and relaxing experience while still allowing for the convenience of home. Please note that there are no utilities in the glamp tents. However, electric outlets are available at the lower pavilion for guests to use. Additionally, guests can use the outhouse located directly across from the glamp tents or the full shower house in the middle of the campground. Crooked Creek Campground prioritizes providing a unique, nature-filled experience and encourages guests to disconnect from modern conveniences during their stay.
  • What is Crooked Creek Campground's cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy at Crooked Creek Campground is as follows: If you cancel eight days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund minus a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel within seven days of your stay, there is no refund. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or rescheduling due to weather, as camping is an outdoor experience. We highly recommend checking the forecast before your trip and packing accordingly. In case of emergency or unexpected circumstances, we may consider rescheduling on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to our customer service team for more information.
  • What types of items can be purchased at the Crooked Creek Campground store
    The Crooked Creek Campground store offers a wide variety of items including beverages, snacks, candy, ice cream, RV and campfire supplies, logo merchandise, ice, wood, stickers, and more. Customers can also purchase fishing supplies from Smitty's or Tackle Shack to support our local businesses. The store even has an ATM for added convenience. So whether you need some refreshments for your camping trip, camping essentials, or just want a souvenir to remember your stay by, you can find it all at the Crooked Creek Campground store.
  • What amenities are included in a cabin stay at Crooked Creek Campground?
    Crooked Creek Campground offers a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Each cabin comes standard with a coffee maker and filters, paper towels, and toilet paper. The type of kitchen appliances included in your cabin depends on the location, with some featuring a microwave while others include a toaster oven. Certain cabins offer linens upon request. Additionally, each cabin comes equipped with a Roku TV and free Wi-Fi. Outdoors, you can enjoy a fire ring and a picnic table. Heat and air conditioning are also provided to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Dishes, silverware, and pots are also provided so you can cook your meals with ease.
  • Are guests allowed to visit my campsite?
    Yes, guests are welcome but must be registered by you prior to their arrival. Upon arrival, they must check in at the office and obtain a car pass. Please note that there is a guest fee of $5 per person, with children 12 and under being free. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed with guests due to safety concerns. If your guests plan on staying overnight, they must be listed on your reservation.
